Kaila Ashwood brings over seven years of experience in healthcare and customer service, with a strong passion for supporting patients throughout every step of their care journey. As a Patient Care Coordinator, her primary responsibilities include patient communication and support, scheduling and care coordination, medical records and documentation management, insurance and billing assistance, and a variety of administrative tasks that help ensure a smooth and welcoming patient experience.

Kaila understands that every patient comes in with a unique story, concern, or goal. She believes that taking the time to listen, understand, and provide compassionate support is one of the most meaningful aspects of her role. Her warm and attentive approach helps patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for from their first interaction onward.

Originally from Prince George’s County, Maryland, Kaila grew up in Bowie, proudly known as the home of the Bulldogs. She values building genuine connections with others and enjoys being part of a team that makes a positive impact in the lives of patients and families.

Outside of work, Kaila enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, trying new restaurants, and staying active outdoors. In her downtime, she loves watching scary movies, listening to music, and embracing her favorite color - orange.
